Mayme Lou Decker died November 20, 2019, at age 95, in De Leon, Texas.  The rest of her went home to the universe, and the universe is God.

Mayme Lou Decker was born to Thomas Ward Dickey and Florence Ann Rackley Dickey on March 4, 1924, in Comyn, Texas.  Mayme grew up and attended school in Comyn with her eleven older siblings.  She won a scholarship to Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas.  She married her beloved husband of 64 years in Stephenville, Texas, on January 31, 1945.  Mayme and Melton moved to Comanche, Texas, in 1964 from Eastland, Texas.  Melton died on January 25, 2009, at age 88.

Mayme was a homemaker, avid reader, seamstress, knitter, and a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.  She loved cats, crossword puzzles, family reunions, and school reunions.  Mayme was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Comanche.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Power of San Antonio, Texas, and Diane and husband Dr. Paul Livingston of Comanche, Texas; granddaughters, Stacy Schweizer of Cleburne, Texas, and Lisa Sullivan and husband Jim of Placitas, New Mexico; grandson, Jason Power and wife Terrie of Fort Worth, Texas; granddaughter, Dana Salinas and husband Frankie of Comanche; great-grandsons, Nathaniel Power and Jacob Power of Fort Worth, Texas;  great-granddaughters, Zoe Schweizer of Cleburne, Texas and Reagan Salinas of Comanche, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
