Vic Jones, age 77, passed away peacefully the evening of December 3, 2019 with his family at his side.

Vic was born November 16, 1942 to Ted and Juanita Jones of Dublin, Texas. Vic received his primary education from Dublin ISD schools, graduating in 1961. He played football, and was a member of FFA, advancing to state contest in dairy cattle judging his senior year. He married in 1963, moved to Fort Worth, and began his career as a machinist with Bell Helicopter. Attending night courses over several years, Vic graduated with a BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1975, continuing his career with Bell, retiring in 2005 as a materials Requirement Specialist.

Vic was an avid fan of Texas Longhorn football, Ford pickups, bird hunting, motorcycle and ATV travel throughout the back country of Colorado, John Wayne movies, and enjoyed traveling with his wife Frances. He was dearly loved by his wife, sons, daughter, and grandchildren.

Vic is survived by his wife of 24 years, Frances Jones of Weatherford; his brother Mark Jones of Dublin, his sons Greg Jones of Gainesville, Chris Jones of Grandview, Jeff Jones of Bedford, and Derek Davis of Sabastian FL; his daughter Michelle Ward of Hudson Oaks; his grandchildren Spencer Jones, Kendal Jones, Ryan Ward, and Callie Ward; numerous nieces and nephews; and great grandson William Ward.

A visitation with family members will be held Saturday December 7, 2019 at 1:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm at Greens Creek Baptist Church, 1263 County Road 380 Dublin, TX 76446.
