Elmola Marie Musick, born March 4, 1940 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to parents Elmo and Mary (Thomas) Brock, passed away in Temple, Texas on December 20, 2019. Elmola was known as “Granny” by her family and friends. Granny loved her family and grandchildren, and her dog “Dusty”. She loved to have get-togethers with friends and family. Granny loved to call at the last minute to fry up your favorite meal for you. “I Love Lucy” and wrestling were Granny’s favorite programs to watch on TV. Those who knew Granny, knew not to get between her and the TV during wrestling. Granny also loved playing “Wahoo” and other board games.
Preceding Elmola in death are her parents, husband Louis Dale Musick, and grandson Thomas Dale Montgomery.
Surviving Elmola are her seven children: Johnny Wheeler and wife Peggy of Dublin, Bobby Wheeler and wife Lorene of Goldthwaite, Deborah Payne and husband Bishop of Buchanan Dam, Tommy Musick of Deleon, Mary Musick of Temple, Danny Musick of Dublin, and Brenda Musick of Temple.
Visitation 6-8pm, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Harvest Hills Funeral Home. Services 2pm, Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Harvest Hills Funeral Home.
Burial to follow at Gentry’s Mill Cemetery.
