GRAVESIDE MEMORIAL SERVICE:  2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Newburg Cemetery in Comanche County.

VISITATION:  Family will visit with friends at Newburg Cemetery from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 18.

LUNCH:  Lunch for the family will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 18, at First Baptist Church of Comanche.

MEMORIALS:  If desired, memorials may be made to Newburg Cemetery Association, c/o Evelyn Lee, 201 North Clark Street, Comanche, Texas 76442.

Charles Ray Levisay, age 84, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, in Granbury, Texas.

He was born on October 20, 1935, in Gorman, Texas, to George Raymond and Lessie Luella (Johnson) Levisay.  After graduating from Comanche High School Charles enlisted in the United States Army. On June 20, 1958, he was united in marriage to Glenda Sue Kee in Comanche County.  He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He farmed and ranched most of his adult life, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Charles was a member of South Leon Baptist Church in Newburg. 

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Glenda Sue Levisay of Comanche; sons, Charles Glen Levisay and wife Laura of Bluff Dale, and Kent Levisay and wife, Diana of Stephenville; and grandchildren: Whitt, Taylor, Laura, Leah, Chad, and Logan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, George Raymond and Lessie Luella Levisay.

Family will meet with friends at Newburg Cemetery in Comanche County from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2020.
