MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Taylor’s Chapel Methodist Church in Comanche County.

LUNCH:  Lunch for the family will be at Taylor’s Chapel Methodist Church following the memorial service.

MEMORIALS:  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.

Margrette Louise Keough passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020, in Comanche County, Texas.

She was born in Rule, Texas, to Riley Albert and Opal Juanita (Graham) Bristow.  In 1949 she married Eddie Ray Easter, Sr.   He preceded her in death.  In 1963 she was united in marriage to Thomas Kenneth Keough in Barstow, Texas.  He preceded her in death on November 18, 2018.  Margrette began her working life as a bookkeeper, but soon realized she could own and operate her own business. She was a talented business woman and, over her lifetime, she owned a jewelry store, gas stations, and several other retail businesses.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.  Margrette was a lifetime member of AMVETS Auxiliary and a faithful member of Taylor’s Chapel Methodist Church.

She is survived by three children: Virginia Louise Easter of Comanche, Joel Max Easter of Early, Lenore Lynette Webb and husband John of Comanche; ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Stacy Easter of Early; and sister, Rachel Young and husband Daile of Arlington.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Opal Bristow; sons, Eddie Ray Easter, Jr. and Riley Lee Easter; daughter, Xeruda Ann Easter; and sisters, Mary Elizabeth Clark and Thirza Xeruda King.
