Dear residents of Erath County,
Phyllis Stewart made a statement with an apology because her word was broken to the candidates by the questioner. I would like to clarify what she means in the following statement:
“This is not about whether or not the candidates answering the questions but about keeping your word. Phyllis and the committee said that the candidates would receive the same questions. This did not happen. Therefore, Phyllis did the right thing and that was to apologize to the candidates and the people on behalf of CTRWC since she is President of CTRWC.”
