Mary went to be with the Lord Saturday morning, April 11, 2020.
Mary was born in Comanche on March 1, 1933 to Arthur and Irene (Chandler) Hazzard. She married Sercy Bostick on January 19, 1952, in Erath County. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2018.
Mary was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church in Lingleville, Texas. She was passionate about basketball during her high school years in Desdemona, Texas. Mary loved animals and she loved to cook, but her favorite things on this earth were her family and grandchildren. One of her gifts in life was being an expert seamstress.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Grimshaw, and husband, Gene of Desdemona, Texas; son, Larry Bostick of Lingleville, Texas; grandchildren, Tonya, Scott, Brandon, Will and Niki; great grandchildren, Chloe, Brock, Alena, Corbin, Reydin, Tristan, Jacob, Claire, James, Gage, and Julie; in-laws, Brandie, Laura, Karsten, and Amiee.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will neither be a public service or visitation at this time.
