Douglas Lee Young, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, in Comanche County, Texas.
He was born on August 28, 1967, in Dallas County, Texas, to Elbert Lee Young and Frances Annette (Cozart) Young. He was a Telecom salesman. Douglas was a loving son, brother and uncle. He enjoyed hunting, fishing boating and cycling. He was an avid sports fan and loved his Dallas Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, and never missed opening day of the Texas Rangers.
He is survived by his father, Pete Young of Carrollton; sisters: Kim Donaghe and husband Mark of Carrollton and Jennifer Korba and husband Mark of Farmers Branch; brother, Greg Young of Carrollton; niece, McKenna Young; nephew, Christian Young; and many close friends who were like brothers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annette Young, and his much loved buddy, Tex.
