Joyce had many interests and hobbies. Early in her life, she pursued her passion as a singer. She trained as a singer in high school and later went to New York for further study with a private teacher. She continued to sing throughout her life at church, the Odessa Symphony and other choirs and chorale. Her amazing talents were shared and cherished by many for years.
