September 13, 1927 ~ August 8, 2020 (age 92)

On the night of August 8, 2020, Amado (Amos) Palma went to be with the Lord.  He was 92 years old.

 Amos was a WWII era veteran who served in the army.  He married his wife, Valentine, in December 1949. Amos leaves behind his wife, 4 daughters, Irene, Cathy, Helen and Linda, 11 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.

 Amos worked for the United States Gypsum Company in Sweetwater, Texas until 1964.  He then attended Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, Texas from which he graduated in 1967.  Later, he served as a minister in Wichita Falls, Texas and then in Midland, Texas.  From there he worked for Western Christian Foundation traveling and raising funds for Western Christian College.  Later on he was employed at TRW Reda Pump in Midland, TX, from which he retired.

 Amos enjoyed motorcycle riding as a hobby. He was an avid reader and student of the Bible.  He loved spending time with his friends.  He will be missed by family and friends.
