(January 29, 1922 – November 01, 2020)

Meriem LaRue Hallmark Prince went home to her Lord and Savior November 1st, 2020 at the young age of 98, peacefully in her sleep.

She was affectionately  known to everyone as Meme.

Meme  was born January 29th, 1922 to W.P. Hallmark and LaRue Keith Hallmark, where they made their home in Dublin Tx. As a kid,  she was the official mascot of the Dublin Lion football team where her Dad coached.  An only child, she was the apple of her parent’s eyes and got away with more than she liked to admit(her words).   She married the love of her life, Steve Prince, on Oct 18th, 1942.  Of that marriage, they had two children; Rodney Prince and Rebecca Prince.   Her family was her world.

Meme was a retired librarian and member of Cornerstone Assembly of God in Stephenville Tx. She volunteered as the 1st United Methodist Church of Dublin librarian for many years and gave us all a great love for the Lord and of reading.  She volunteered often at Dublin ISD for her grandchildren’s activities, whether it be baking cookies for a Dandi-lion bake sale or chapparonning the jr high dance.  She never missed a bible study, a grandchild’s sporting event or a chance to visit with friends.

She is survived by her loving daughter and long time amazing caregiver, Rebecca Prince, of Dublin, Tx.  Her 1st born loving son,Rodney Prince and Lori Michaels, of Belton Tx.  Her precious niece, Jo Ann Watson, of Colorado. Her granddaughter, Lisa Rasor and husband, Joel Rasor, of Burleson Tx along with her great grand-children; Aiden,Katie, Samantha, Dylan and Gage.  Her granddaughter Brenna Frazier, of Austin, Tx along with great grand-children Ashlyn and Kaden.  Her granddaughter Amy Prince and Gus Guerra, of Smithville, Tx, along with great grand-children Sophie, Gabe and Evie LaRue.

Meeting her at heaven’s gate are those that went before her- her husband, Steve Prince, grandson,Joshua Crider, parents, W.P. and LaRue Hallmark and many others that rejoice in her arrival.

Due to Covid, there will not be a formal service to attend.  She is to be buried at the family plot at the Old Dublin Cemetery.

She was an amazing soul and will be greatly missed.  Till we meet again <3
