The Stephenville HS Yellow Jacket basketball team got back in the win column after their opening loss to Midlothian Heritage HS. The Jackets (1-1) faced off against the Dublin Lions (0-1) in Gandy Gym Tuesday evening. The Jackets were able to come away with the win, 67-53.
While Stephenville HS had already opened their season with a tough game, the Dublin Lions opened their ’20-’21 season with this battle on the hardwood. Head Coach Will Parker said he was proud of the boys and looked forward to a good season moving forward.
The Jackets will take to the court again Friday against China Spring in Stephenville HS Gandy Gym.
The Lions will take on Brownwood Friday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m.
