Allan Carl Grimm, 59, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Beck Funeral Home in Round Rock, along with a graveside service at 3:00 pm Saturday at Bunyan Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Beck Funeral Home.
Allan was born the fifth of six children to the late Adolph C. and Betty J. Grimm on February 9, 1961 in Elgin. He graduated from Elgin High School class of 1979. Allan married Sandra Disinger on April 28, 1984 in Elgin and together they had one son. He worked as a Machinist with a few companies throughout his career before ultimately retiring from National Oilwell Varco in Cedar Park. After retirement, Allan moved to Stephenville to be close to his son and grandchildren, where he attended the Double N Cowboy Church in Dublin.
He is survived by his son, Andrew Grimm and wife Erika, along with grandchildren, Ally, Brooke and Wyatt Grimm of Stephenville; former wife and good friend, Sandy Grimm; brother, Danny Grimm and wife Cindy of Buda; brother, Darrell Grimm and wife Carol of Liberty Hill; sister Margaret Tucker and husband Will of Kerrville; sister Jane Marshall and husband Doug of Salado; brother Brian Grimm and wife Valisa of Fredericksburg; and many nephews.
