Services for Larry Hugh Allred, 77, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at New Lebanon Cemetery in Aquilla, Texas.
Larry was born in Waco, Texas on February 2, 1943 to Eugene and Mattie (Horton) Allred. He married Doris Mears on October 17, 1964 in Gholson, Texas.
Larry retired from St. Gobain after 20 years of service as a mechanic in the manufacturing industry.
Larry proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.
Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Doris Allred; children, David Allred of Twin Falls, Idaho, Scott Allred, and wife, Miranda, of Stephenville, Texas, Melissa Whitt, and husband, Buddy, of Desdemona, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and siblings, Kenneth Allred, of Axtell, Texas, Ronnie Allred, of Aquilla, Texas, and Marla Turner, of Waco, Texas. He was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter, Olivia Whitt, and 1 sister, Carolyn Matthews.
