Garrick Anthony Hicks, 31, of Dallas, left his earthly body Sunday May 30,2021. He was involved in a tragic car accident. A Memorial will be held on Saturday June 12, 2021, at 3 pm at Heartland Funeral Home in Comanche with Bobby Davis officiating. Visitation with the family will be at 2 pm on Saturday prior to the memorial. G was born on January 23, 1990, in Dublin, TX, to Tony and Kristi Hicks. G earned his associates degree in sound engineering from Dallas Media Tech and currently was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in networking. He was a manager trainee in retail and a very talented musician versed in many instruments, he wrote, played, and sang his own music. A gentle spiritual soul who is loved by many. Garrick is larger than life with a laugh to match.
He is survived by his mother Kristi Hicks, father, Tony and wife Fay; his girlfriend Grace Pricolici; 2 brothers, Doug Hicks and Justin Donald; 6 sisters, Ki Hicks, Chloe Brown, Sassy Bilberry and Tim, Taryn Newby & Clay, Britney Santibanez and Andrew, Hailey Allen & Les; 5 nephews and 15 nieces; paternal grandparents, Gaylon and Mary Alfrey; Aunt Teresa andcousin Bethany.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bob and Norma Jean Davis; paternal grandparents, Donnie & Lurene”Granny”Hicks; nephew, Godrick Santibanez; grandparents, James and Wanda Bilberry.Honorary pallbearers for G’s service will be Jason Hathcock,Justin Donald, Hailey Allen, Landon Clary, Josh Davis, and Smokey Maricle.
