Jerry Byron Lee unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2021. He was born on August 28, 1939, in Dublin, Texas to his parents Rosa Lee (Hamilton)Lee and Robert Morris Lee. Jerry earned his bachelor’s degree in Agronomy at Texas A&M University and started his career in agriculture for the government. Shortly after his graduation, in 1964, Jerry married and through that marriage he had two children Byron and Barbara. Jerry worked for the Department of Defense and Soil Conservation Service. He later pursed a career in as an agronomist for the state of Texas and retired in 1994. He was known for his hard work and dedication to his family and his farm. In the late 1980’s, Jerry was re-married to Linnadelle Mudd and through this marriage he gained three stepchildren Susan Carl, Robert Mudd and Greg Mudd. He was affiliated with the Greens Creek Baptist Church and currently is a member of the First Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas. Jerry was on the Greens Creek Water Board and Texas Farm Bureau for many years. He was a past member of the Elks Club and Dublin Masonic Lodge. Jerry suffered from leukemia during the last few years of his life and although his illness slowed him down, he was a fighter and continued to pursue his dream on the family farm.

Jerry is survived by his wife Linnadelle Lee of Dublin, Texas, his children Barbara Lewis of Early, Texas and Byron Lee of Denton, Texas, his stepchildren Susan Carl of Stephenville, Texas, Robert Mudd of Stephenville, Texas and Greg Mudd of Fruita, Colorado, his grandchildren Jordan Nail, Gage Nail, Zach Nail, Josh Mudd, Jeremy Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Byron Lee, Estelle Lee, Julian Lee, many great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
