Services for Maveliene “Sally” Smith-Sisson, 89, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 12, 2021, at Lacy Funeral Home with Rev. Weldon Branham officiating. Burial will follow at Pony Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M., Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Sally was born in Erath County on January 12, 1932, to Marvin and Louetta (Belcher) Aycock. She married Charlie Sisson, and he preceded her in death in December of 2014.
Sally was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Sally is survived by her children, Mike Schriner of Lancaster, Ohio, Rick Dittoe and wife, Connie, of Dublin, Texas, David Sisson, Sr., of Hico, Texas, Tina Buchanan and husband, Kelly, of West Columbia, Texas, and Charlie “Chuck” Sisson, Jr., and wife of Cleveland, Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; and her sister, Allene Stooksbury of San Angelo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Sisson, two sons, Marvin Sisson and Richard Sisson, and one brother, Rayford Aycock.
