Synthia Droke, age 61, was promoted to heaven on Saturday, July 10th 2021, in Dallas Texas.

She was born on December 19, 1959, in Gorman, Texas, to T.J. and Martha Mae (Thompson) Couch. On June 14, 1977, she was united in marriage to Lyndon Droke in Comanche, Texas.

Synthia was a devoted wife and mother. She did everything she could to make the home environment loving and welcoming. She achieved a degree in computer science and cosmetology, spent over 15 years in Marketing in Los Angeles, and loved her jobs and the people she worked with.

Synthia was always a caregiver who would bring light to any situation, and had the biggest heart for people. Whether it was supporting her own children or others in need of a home or good meal. She spent time working as a middle school aide in Comanche Texas and loved working in hospice.

Known as “Momma Droke” all the way from Texas to Los Angeles, she was a friend, a confidant, and an inspiration to us all.

Synthia was a fighter who loved life, family, and the Lord. She was a guiding light to so many and will continue to inspire us for her courage and bravery.

She is survived by her husband, Lyndon Droke of Comanche; Daughters, Barbi Schoen and husband Todd of Comanche, Betti Brooks and husband Craig of Indian Gap, and Samantha Tomchik and husband Eric of Franklin, Tennessee; grandchildren: Kaycee, Kylee, Jordyn, Shay, and Haevyn; and numerous extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents T.J. and Martha Mae Couch; brother, Tommy Couch; and sister, Sue Pliner.
