A Night at The Shack was a huge success! The musical and all-you-can-eat event was held Saturday evening at The Shack in Stephenville and was very well attended. Guests were able to enjoy delicious catfish, shrimp, french fries and hush puppies while enjoying some great live country music. The food was prepared by the fine folks of
The Shack and they even contributed a portion of the proceeds to the cause. The cause is/was our Choices Clinic here in Stephenville. The Choices Clinic helps young ladies who may be experiencing an unexpected pregnancy with counseling and help.
Unfortunately, the Choices Clinic folks were unable to hold their annual banquet that serves as their biggest source of income or support. Musicians and volunteers from First Baptist Church of Stephenville as well as the fine folks at The Shack all pitched in to help the Choices Clinic with some funding. Many of the guests also donated numerous boxes of diapers and wipes and organizers said they ended up raising just over $3,400 for the Choices Clinic!
