The Stephenville HS Honeybee volleyball team took the Bi-District Championships from the Vernon Lady Lions in three quick sets (25-13, 25-16, 25-8) on Monday in Graham. Now the No. 9 Bees (30-10, 8-0) will face the Springtown Lady (25-15, 9-3) at 6 p.m. on Thursday in Aledo.
Stephenville HS continues to dominate this season and Maxpreps.com ranks the Honeybees in third place in 4A state behind Hereford (43-2) and Decatur (30-8), who both won their Bi-District matches as well. While the Texas Girls Coaches Association ranks Stephenville 9 behind, Hereford, Celina, Carthage, Bridge City, Bellville, Decatur, Farmersville and Wimberly.
Also from District 6, 4A, Brownwood won their Bi-District match and will face Argyle on Thursday, Nov. 4. Glen Rose will face No. 6 Decatur on Thursday, Nov. 4, and Gatesville was taken out of the bracket by Graham Tuesday in their Bi-District match.
