James (Jim) Lee Storey (76) entered the gates of heaven on November 6, 2021, in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Jim was born on February 14, 1945, in McLeansboro, Illinois to Samuel Storey Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Storey. He grew up with his siblings, Rebecca, and David. Jim loved the Lord, his family, old cars, motorcycles, bluegrass music, working, always joking and was the most stubborn person you would meet.
Jim married the love of his life Reba (Phillips) Storey on July 3,2010 in Iredell, Texas at the home of his mother-in-law (Veleta), whom he loved dearly.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as several other family members.
He is survived by his wife, Reba Storey, of Iredell; children, daughter Samie Williams and her husband Paul of Tolar, son Jeff Hollingsworth and wife Misty of Stephenville; bonus daughter Rene Stewart and husband Nathan of Granbury; grandchildren, Nicole Hollingsworth, Alex Hollingsworth, Sara Quarles, Shai Quarles, Reid Baugh, and Stevie Hollingsworth. In addition, three bonus grandkids, nine bonus great grandkids, and one bonus great-great grandson. A brother David Storey and sister Rebecca Heisler and her husband Jim and a host of wonderful family and friends.
