Marshall Lee Weeks was born in Hobbs, NM, on January 14, 1938, to Marshall Matthew Weeks and Avanelle Henson Weeks, passed away in Tucson, AZ, November 24, 2021. He graduated Colton High School in Colton, CA, and UC Berkeley with a degree in Labor Relations. Marshall worked for Graff Weeks Construction, Martin Marietta,and as a plant manager for UARCO Business Forms for 29 years, working in the Oakland, CA; Riverside, CA; Toccoa, GA; Chicago, IL; DeKalb, IL; Fulton, KY, plants and also in the Chicago general office; retiring in 1993. Upon retirement, Marshall moved to Tucson, AZ, with his wife, Sherre Weeks. Marshall enjoyed golf, bowling, travel, dining out, reading and his dogs and family. He is survived by his wife, Sherre; daughter, Melina Mayweather of Chapin, SC; stepson, Brian Wilbanks of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren: Jessica Mayweather, Courtney Mayweather, David Mayweather, Jordan Wilbanks, Jacob Wilbanks; and 7 great-grandchildren. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janavee Read.
His final resting place will be the Hico Cemetery in Hico, with services at 1 pm, Friday, January 14, with Pastor Don Moore officiating.
