Charles Nolan Murrell of Hico Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior December 7, 2021 after a short illness. Charles and wife Corrie moved the family to Hico Texas in 1976 to continue dairy farming and raising their family. They were active in their community and local church. Charles, an avid bird watcher spent most of his days searching for hummingbird nests, rattle snakes, and listening to Fats Domino who later became a personal friend. He was born August 17, 1943 to W.A. (Bill) and Thelma Murrell of Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Birdville High School then went on to marry his Pen Pal from Holland Corrie den Boon. They had four children Ben, John, Monica, and Bill. He is proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister Belinda and John Fernandes of Denton, Tx, sons Ben and Elisabeth Murrell of Moses Lake, Wa. John Murrell of Arlington, Tx Bill and Shiela Murrell of Amarillo, Tx and daughter Monica McDonald and Chris Goebel of Hico, Tex. Many grandchildren: Stephanie, Isaac, Isabella, Jacob, Jessica, Julia, James and Jessica Zahler. Adopted grandchildren DJ and Christy Zwart, and Logan Jackson. Great grandchildren Adriana, Charlie, Jonah, Jack, and Oliver. Great great grandchildren Zion, Kinley, and Kallan.

Cemetery Details

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 13, in the Long Creek Cemetery on Temple Hall Hwy. in Granbury.
