Former Stephenville HS Head Coach and former defensive coordinator at the University of Tulsa, Coach Joseph Gillespie has accepted the defensive coordinator position at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.Before his time at Tulsa, Gillespie was head coach at Stephenville High School where he compiled a 72-23 record, winning four district titles, advancing to the playoffs all seven of his seasons, and capping his career with the state championship in 2012.Gillespie and his wife, Jodi, have three children: sons Josh and Jake, daughter Chelsea and son-in-law, Tyler, and grandson Emmerson.
