On Saturday evening, the Erath County Habitat for Humanity held their “A Voice For Habitat” – 2022 Singing Competition at the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center on the Tarleton State University campus. The event included 10 competitors and there were 3 celebrity judges: Shea Abshier, Billy Mack Smith, and Bob Hansen. The event was presented by emcee Audie Renee. First, second and third place awards were presented to the winners by ECHH’s very own, Stacy Morrison.
The evening began with a special performance by Shea Abshier and then each of the ten competitors performed their song of choice. While the votes were being tallied, the crowd was treated to short performance by a previous winner of the competition, Andrew Dolan.
A great time was had by all and this year’s winners are:
- 1st Place: Nathan Barker
- 2nd Place: Everett Patrick
- 3rd Place and People’s Choice winner: Michael Patulea
Congratulations to the winners and all the fine contestants! A huge thank you to all the sponsors, ticket buyers, judges, musicians, volunteers and everyone else that came together to make this event a huge success!
