Ray White, age 75, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Comanche, Texas.
Ray was born on August 11, 1946, in Gorman, Texas. His parents were Milton Dewitt White and Marie Clara (Rogers). A significant part of Ray’s childhood was spent in Sidney, Texas with his grandparents Asbury and Bonnie Rogers. He was united in marriage to Susan Ann (Gilbert) on January 15, 1977 in Comanche, Texas. He was a truck driver for many years, loved his family, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Susan White; two daughters, Tracey McAllister and Jeff VanZee of Pottsboro, Texas and Christi McCullough and Mark of Comanche, Texas; two sons, Michael White of Huntsville, Texas and Justin White and Jodie Keaton of Brownwood, Texas; nine grandchildren, Taylor, Carson, Kynlee, Ava, Taylor, Ty, Amber, Katie, and Brianna; and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Dewitt White and Marie Clara (Rogers); and brother, Richard Skinner; and grandparents, Asbury and Bonnie Rogers.
Service Details
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, at the Comanche Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, in the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Comanche County Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
