Buckles and Bugs in the City Park

Luke Sims, the owner of The Shack in Stephenville, put on an event in the Stephenville City Park on Saturday, March 19, featuring some pretty big names in Texas County music as well as some local favorites.

He also said the following about this fun event:

What started out as a dream became a reality this weekend with Buckles and Bugs. Craig Allen and I wanted to provide a local festival that benefited the city of Stephenville in downtown Stephenville. With the help of some great sponsors, the city of Stephenville, and Charlie Diggs entertainment, we did just that! It’s estimated that more than 3,500 people attended Buckles and Bugs and more than $7,000 was raised for the all inclusive playground (for children with special needs) being built in the City Park. We hope everyone had a blast and looks forward to Buckles and Bugs 2023!
