The No. 7 Honeybees (19-0-2) took only a few minutes to score their first goal of the evening, setting the tone for their win over the Lubbock Estacado Matadors 2-0 Thursday in Sweetwater to take the Bi-District title. They will face the winner of the Pampa – El Paso Mountain View game, which will be played Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
The No. 5 Stephenville HS Yellow Jackets (18-2-1) came into Sweetwater with a mission and they executed it. The Yellow Jackets struck soon and often as they systematically defeated the Midland Greenwood Rangers 9-1 Thursday for the Bi-District Championship. The Jackets continue their winning streak, which is now at 12 games. They move on to face the winner of the Clint – Dumas game, which will be played at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 25.
