September 12, 1954 ~ March 27, 2022 (age 67)
Cathy Annett Hancock, 67, of Stephenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 27, 2022 after a courageous battle with pneumonia. She was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to her.
Cathy always found beauty in every situation good or bad, and the light of her soul lit up every person or animal that came in contact with her. Cathy’s friends stretch from coast to coast. Cathy Hancock was a rare diamond and she will be greatly missed.
Cathy is survived by her husband, John D. Hancock; two sons, John R. Hancock and Robert P. Hancock; her mother, Martha Sharp; sister, Kay Richards, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Cathy’s desire was to be cremated. A memorial service for Cathy will be set at a later date.
