
STEPHENVILLE – Summer soccer camps are again on the horizon in the City of Champions.
Tarleton soccer is hosting four camps between the months of June and July for athletes between kindergarten and their senior year in high school.
The program is offering two Future Texans Camps for the young footballers in Stephenville and the surrounding community. Those camps run from 9 a.m.-noon on June 6-8 and July 18-20 and are reserved for girls and boys between the ages of 6-12.
Sandwiched between the pair of Future Texans Camps is the first of two Prospect ID Camps from 1-4 p.m. on July 16. The camp is a one-day opportunity for girls entering 8th through 12th grade to showcase their abilities. Campers will start by competing individually and in small groups before transitioning to 11v11 matches.
The summer slate concludes with an Overnight ID Camp and Team Camp from July 24-26.
Each camper will receive an official Tarleton soccer t-shirt along with individual instruction from the coaching staff and gain exposure to the program.

Future Texans Camps
Dates: June 6-8, July 18-20
Who: Athletes between the ages of 6-12
Cost: $110; includes an official Tarleton soccer t-shirt
Prospect ID Camp
Date: July 16
Who: Girls entering 8th through 12th grade
Cost: $95; includes an official Tarleton soccer t-shirt
Overnight ID Camp and Team Camp
Date: July 24-26
Who: Girls entering 8th through 12th grade
Cost: $295 for overnight campers and $245 for commuter campers; includes an official Tarleton soccer t-shirt
Please note that in accordance with NCAA rules, an athletic booster or other representative of Tarleton’s athletics interests may not pay for any expense such as registration fee, travel, lodging, etc. that might be related to a prospective student-athlete’s participation in a sports camp or clinic administered Tarleton or any of its coaches of staff members.

Tarleton announced the addition of women’s soccer as the 15th intercollegiate athletics program in school history in January 2021. The program will begin its inaugural season in August.
