Obituary
Services for Gary Lee Bowling, 80, business owner, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 23, 2022, with Military Honors, and Masonic Rites, at Lacy Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Gary was born in Clarendon, Texas on July 10, 1941, to Alfred and Gaynelle (Tidwell) Bowling. He married the love of his life, Joyce Ann Rattan on July 10, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Gary was a Baptist by faith. He was also a long-time member of the Fort Worth Masonic Lodge. Gary was a veteran of the United States Army, where he proudly served for 4 years. He co-owned, Bowling Telephone and Network Service with his son, Gary since 1991.
Gary is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Ann (Rattan) Bowling; daughter, Becky Brown and husband, David, of Godley, Texas; son, Gary Bowling and wife, Shannan, of Stephenville, Texas; 8 grandchildren, Whitney Collins, Joshua Orsini-Collins (husband Michael) Brazos Collins (wife Meagan), Ethan Boyd (wife Janah), Reece Bowling, Lucas Bowling (wife Bekah) Riley Cosby, and Caleb John Brown. 5 great grandchildren, Ann Jaden, Hattie Jan, Selah Diane, Addie, and Ryeland; and his sister, Victoria Taylor and husband, John, of Amarillo, Texas. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Gaynelle Bowling; daughter, Crystal Dawn Bowling; granddaughter, Cassidy Collins; and grandson, Jake Bowling.
