Ricky Lynn Carey, 72, of Granbury, Texas, passed away on Monday May 2, 2022, in Hico, Texas.
Rick was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Hulon and Dorothy Carey on November 19, 1949. He married Virginia Lea Wissmann on August 2, 1981. He loved operating heavy equipment and given many awards for being the number one salesman any and everywhere he worked. Rick loved everything music, from playing guitar, harmonica and singing with his family.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents and brother Randy Carey.
Rick is survived by his wife, Virginia Carey (Wissmann) of Granbury, four children: son Michael Carey and wife Mia, daughter Melissa Houston and husband John, daughter Ashley Rodriguez and wife Sonjia, and son Blake Carey and wife Stefani, grandchildren; Ezekiel Richards, Andrew Richards, Scarlett Richards, Zoe Christian, Anna Lee Houston, Michael Carey, Jr. and wife Kay Lee, Morgan VanVoast and husband Dakota, Kylee Greer, and Ryland Carey. Rick is also survived by greatgrandchildren; Elijah Richards, Isaiah Richards, Zuri Richards, Leighton Carey and Nolan VanVoast.
