(June 22, 1960 – June 20, 2022)

Brian Eric Carlson, 61, of Morgan Mill went to be with our lord and savior on Monday, June 20,
2022 at home with his family by his side.
Brian was born on June 22, 1960 in Moline, Ill to the late Kenneth Carlson and Billie Shlaes. He
met the love of his life, Venus Carlson, on September 24,1994, and they eventually married and
had two beautiful children, Cheyenne and Kenny. Brian was always a hard worker and started
working at a very young age with his own paper route. He had a few other jobs before he
decided to go to motorcycle mechanic school in Florida. He worked at several Harley Davidson
and aftermarket dealerships throughout the Fort Worth, Dallas area. He then took a year break
from mechanicing and drove a semi before deciding to go back to working on Harleys. After
marrying Venus on September 24,1998 and the birth of their first child they decided to move to
Stephenville, TX in 1999 and open their own aftermarket shop. Brian and Venus owned and
operated Streamline Cycles for over 20 years. Besides working on Harley’s he loved tinkering
around his shop at home and playing with his cows.
Brian is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Venus of Morgan Mill; Daughter Cheyenne
Carlson and her fiance Mason Yoes both of Abilene, TX; Kenny Carlson of Morgan Mill, TX;
Brother Scott Carlson of Moline, Ill; Sisters Sandra Cytacki of Trenton, Fl; Jan (Richard) True of
Coal Valley, Ill; Father and Mother In-Law Dr. James and Sandra Herbertson of Morgan Mill; He
is also survived by several nieces, nephews and customers that were like family as well.
There will be a Celebration of Life on July 23, 2022 at the Morgan Mill Community Center 406
County Road 156 Bluff Dale, Tx 76433 at 12:00. Please come and celebrate his life and tell us
your memories of him. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
