Joe Lee Killian, a longtime Tomball resident went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 17, 2022, surrounded by his beloved family at the age of 83.
Joe will be buried at Erath Gardens of Memory, 6811 US 377, Stephenville, Texas with a Graveside service on Saturday, July 23rd at 12:00 Noon. Visitation with the Killian family will be at 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, July 22nd at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Joe was born in Lubbock, Texas on November 3, 1938, to the late Oscar and Viola Fowler Killian. He married Sandra Partain on August 17, 1958, in Stephenville. Joe was an active member of Central Baptist Church in Pinehurst, Texas, a Sunday school teacher, and served several years as a school board member of the Central Baptist Church Academy. He spent the past seven years with his son, Judson, and family in La Vernia, Texas. Joe spent most of his life working as a supervisor for Shell Oil Company.
Survivors include his four children, Joe’s son, Judson L. and his daughter-in-law Pat T. Killian; grandchildren, Justin L. Killian, Jericho Hernandez, Jenny L. and husband Alex Huddleston, great grandson, Colton Huddleston, Payton R. Killian; son, Todd Killian; grandchildren, Travis Killian and wife Kristin-Sophie Killian, Heather Killian and partner Cliff Williams, and great grandsons, Bradley Williams and Elliott Williams; son Monte D. Killian; daughter, Angela Killian; grandchildren, Drew Foglesong and Brandon Foglesong and great grandson Brayden Foglesong; brother, Bill and wife Margaret Killian; brother-in-law, Doug and wife Laura Partain; numerous nieces and nephews; and ex-daughter-in-law, Carol Dixon.
Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra on March 10, 2015; parents, Oscar & Viola Killian and brother, Oscar Killian, Jr.
