Ray Haynes, 92, passed away on July 18, 2022 in Stephenville, TX. Ray was born on October 28, 1929 in Paris, TX to his parents John Drayton Haynes and Sarah Abbie (Gates) Haynes. He married Bonnie Partain. Ray worked for the pipeline service corporation and Ray’s Backhoe Service for around 25 years. He ate lunch at Jake and Dorothy’s every day and breakfast at Peacock’s for many years. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
Ray was proceeded in death by his siblings Jeff Haynes, Iba Haynes Hood, Daisy Dean Haynes Mullins, Jewel Haynes Fisher, and his son Steven Ray Haynes.
He is survived by his son Dwayne Lonnie Haynes of Hudson, CO, his daughter Kathy Jean Putrite of Stephenville, TX, his stepson Kyle Graham of Colorado, his stepdaughters Becky Graham of Stephenville, TX, and Choyia Holley of Hico, TX, 4 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren that will miss him dearly.
Service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Harrell Memorial Chapel.
Interment will be at a later date at Cow Creek Cemetery.
