S.B. Sisk

S.B. Sisk was born in Weatherford, Texas, on April 4, 1930, to S.B. Sisk Sr. and Ruby Jensen Sisk. Later they moved to Cisco, Texas and in 1948, they moved to Comanche where he lived for the rest of his life. He was united in marriage to Patricia Hurt on April 7, 1961.

He worked at Hathcock’s as an appliance service man for many years and worked at Wrights Leather Goods for several years. He then operated a machine shop at his home where he built custom machinery for people in the metroplex area as well as for people in Comanche. He was an active member of East Side Baptist Church having taught various Sunday School classes and played the harmonica while Pat, his wife, sang. He was a very talented man and remained an active member and dedicated Christian until his death.

He is survived by his nephew, Mike Godwin and wife, Ellen; Goddaughter, Donna DeBusk; nieces, Lisa Hill, Carolyn, and other nieces and nephews; and other great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; sisters, Jean and Olean.

Service Information

Visitation will be held from 9 until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at the Comanche Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, in the Comanche Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Cox Cemetery in Sidney.
