Joe Daniel, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, in Comanche, Texas.

Joe was born in Odessa, Texas, on September 10, 1952, to Huland Arnold and Nadine (Guthrie) Daniel. He was united in marriage to Tami Williams in Hamilton, Texas on May 23, 2002. Joe was a lifetime rancher and musician. He attended Tarleton State University after graduating Comanche High School. He spent more Saturdays working at the auction barn than not. He worked many years for Lake Proctor Irrigation Authority, retired and went to work cattle for various people for many years and retired several other times throughout these jobs, he then went back to work for the county before finally retiring to do whatever he wanted to do every day. This usually entailed sleeping as close to lunchtime as possible, watching westerns on TV, and going out and about to find more “treasures” and “bargains” to bring home.

He is survived by his wife, Tami Daniel; one daughter, Jodi Gaines; sons, Kyle Strube (Lesli) and Jeff (Misty); Four granddaughters; Kailei Gaines, Lainei Gaines, Starli Strube, and Scout Strube; one grandson, Wyatt Strube; and numerous family and friends.
