A graveside service for LaWanna Chaney, 87, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Alexander Cemetery with Carey Chaney officiating.
LaWanna was born in Alexander, Texas on August 8, 1935, to TC and Marie (Mitchell) Chaney.
LaWanna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stephenville. She loved to read and her favorite color was blue.
LaWanna is survived by her sister, Dianna Locke; nieces and nephews, Carey Chaney and wife Debbie, Bart Chaney and wife Andrea, Gena Porter, Kevin Locke and wife Dawn, and Denise Locke. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Chaney and a nephew, Chris Locke.
