Texans suffer first home loss of season to Southern Utah

STEPHENVILLE — The Tarleton women’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision Sunday afternoon to Southern Utah at the Tarleton Soccer Complex.

Southern Utah opened the scoring with a goal in the 8th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The lone goal was all the Thunderbirds needed to secure the win Saturday.

Mikayla Kendall kept the Texans in the match with four saves.

The Texans (4-3-3) will travel to Nex Mexico State for their next match at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 30.
