November 14, 1940 ~ October 8, 2022 (age 81)
Joyce Faye Casstevens passed away on October 8, 2022 and joined the love of her life, Jim, in heaven.
Joyce was born at Geary, Oklahoma on November 14, 1940 to Orval Andrew and Eunice Faye McDonald. She and Jim were high school sweethearts at Geary, Oklahoma and were married on June 14th, 1958 at the First Christian Church in Calumet, Oklahoma.
To this union was born Kelly, Lynda, and Jimmy. Joyce was a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Greens Creek Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years on September 23, 2012, her parents Orval and Faye McDonald, Father and Mother In Law, T.K. and Oma Casstevens, and other family members.
Joyce is survived by her children Kelly Casstevens of Hico, Lynda Croft of Joshua, and Jimmy Casstevens and wife, Brenda of Red Oak, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at the West End Cemetery on October 12, 2022 with Reverend Mike Hannah.
Joyce requested that any memorials be made to her favorite charities, Meals for the Elderly, Cancer Society and St Jude Children’s Hospital.
Mom and Dad are together again forever.
