The Stephenville Honeybees (25-8, 5-0) have completed the first half of District 6, 4A play without a loss. The Bees hosted the Mineral Wells Lady Rams (19-13, 1-5) on Friday, winning in four sets, 19-25, 25-27, 27-25, 9-25.
That means when the Bees visit Brownwood on Tuesday, Oct. 18, they will be kicking off the second half of district play against the last play Lady Lions (4-21, 0-6). Stephenville will travel to Glen Rose on Friday, October 21.
The Honeybees are ranked #15 in State 4A play by the Texas Girls Coaches Association and first in their district with #23 Glen Rose (23-10, 4-1) in second and Graham (26-11, 4-2) in third. Mineral Wells is four and Brownwood in fifth.
