November 7, 2022 ~ November 19, 2022
Marilynn Ann Woodcock, infant daughter of Robert and Joanne Woodcock was born on November 7, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas. Marilynn was called to Heaven on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Marilynn was her parents’ greatest achievement. They will always remember her many faces, soft laugh, and keen awareness, despite being so little. Marilynn loved to dress up, play in her swing, and be watched out for by her dog, Brice.
She had this sense about her, as if she already knew what it meant to be kind, caring, and gracious. She took after her mother in those ways. Marilynn was always very animated with her expressions; they were so loud; it was as if you could hear her thoughts.
Her parents will always hold their memories with Marilynn near and dear to their hearts: leaving the hospital to come home for the first time, her first snooze in her flamingo-themed nursery, her first time playing in her activity gym, her first time seeing the Christmas lights in Arlington. Twelve days will never be enough to account for a lifetime of what-ifs.
We can still picture your beautiful blue eyes and enchanting smile, and we can still feel your whole hand gripping one of our fingers so mightily. A lifetime of hugs, kisses, and I love you’s would not have been enough to show just how much you mean to us.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Stephenville Funeral Chapel.
Marilynn is survived by her parents, Robert and Joanne Woodcock; grandparents, Nancy and Jack Stoner and Kathleen Lazor Woodcock; aunts and uncles, Kristina and Andrew Victor, Daniel Woodcock, Jeffrey Stoner, Jacquetta and Larry Ruston, Shawn Stoner, and Jessica Trahan. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Keith Woodcock, and great grandmother, Marilyn Deneka.
