G. worked hard during his life as a truck driver, in construction, as a ceramic tile setter, owned a marble manufacturing plant and as a land/home developer.  He loved flying airplanes, and riding motorcycles.  His first dates with Dollie were with her riding on the back of his motorcycle as teenagers.  After retirement, L. G. loved to travel.  He and Dollie enjoyed trips all over the United States, and various cruises.  His favorite place to visit was Alaska.  L. G. and Dollie were lifelong member of the Church of Christ where he served as an elder for many years.  In his later years, his life revolved around church, meeting up with his buddies at the coffee shop and going to his grandsons’ ballgames.  He was a devoted member of the Johnsville Church of Christ, and lastly, he had a love for chocolate milkshakes, Blue Bell Ice Cream, and sour cream chicken enchiladas.  He was a strong Christian and looked forward to seeing his precious wife again.  Dollie passed in 2006, and he never went a day without missing her.  Besides his parents and his wife, Dollie, he is also preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
