Karen Lynn Miller Foster, born December 23, 1963 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to parents Bobby and Mary (Moore) Miller, passed away in Hico, Texas on February 6, 2023 at age 59. Karen, also known as Granny Grunt by family and friends, loved raising her corgis, antique shopping, rodeos (checking out Wrangler jean patches) and dancing, as well as enjoying time spent with her friends and family.
Preceding Karen in death are her parents and grandparents, one niece and one nephew.
Surviving Karen are her partner and friend, Steven Christian; daughter Amber Watkins and husband Nathan; sons, Laramie Foster, Josh Foster and wife Jennifer, Cory Foster and special friend Maricela; brothers, Wayne Houston and wife Donna of Apache, Oklahoma, Rob Miller and wife Cathy of Granbury, Texas, and Marty Miller and wife Felisha of Duvall, Oklahoma. Also surviving Karen are nine grandchildren; her lifelong friend and sister Angie Chambless and daughter Christina; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation 6-8pm, Wednesday February 8, 2023 at Harvest Hills Funeral Home in Hico, Texas. Funeral Service 2pm, Thursday, February 9th at Fairy Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Ray officiating.
