Joann Toler Pierce Kretzer, 86, of Iredell, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
Graveside services for Joann will be 3:00 PM Saturday, March 18th at Duffau Cemetery in Erath County. Services are under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home.
Joann was born on February 13, 1937, in Stephenville to the late Marvin Vester and Ethel Louise McCann Toler. Joann attended public school in Stephenville, graduating in the mid 50’s from Stephenville High School. She studied accounting and business at Tarrant County Junior College. Joann worked several years in retail businesses, and was a former senior accounting clerk for Alcon Laboratories from 1980 to 1992. Joann loved to garden, cook, paint, and do genealogy. She spent much of her time reading, especially Louis L’Amour novels. Joann loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Iredell Methodist Church, and spent several years living in Fort Worth, and most of her life in Erath County.
Joann is survived by her husband, Neil Kretzer; sons, Harold Charles Davis, II and Lane Christopher Davis; grandchildren, Charlie Davis, John David Davis, and Heather Burnett; four great grandchildren; brother, Happy and wife Helen Toler; sister, Joyce and husband Jim Burnett; and several nieces and nephews.
