Larry Douglas Day, 66, was called home by his Heavenly Father on Friday, March 24, 2023, after a brief illness.
Larry was born August 28, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas to Conley Loren Day and Jackie Spray-Bollier. He was raised on the west side and attended school in Benbrook. Larry was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, pool player and he spent most of his weekends at flea markets, like his father Conley. Larry also enjoyed spending time with his family whenever he could.
Larry is survived by his son Nathan and his wife Jennifer; two granddaughters: Serina (Day) Sanchez and Tessa Day, his sister Pamela Gerland, niece Tina Jordan and nephew Mike Day, aunt Betty (Day) Burge, Uncle Ray Day and his wife Kay, several great-nephews and nieces, many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Conley Michael Day, nephew Jeffrey Jordan, niece Denise Jordan, uncles and aunts: George Day, Douglas Day, Willie (Day) Conner, Retha (Day) Watkins, James Lewis (Jay) Day, Micheal Boyd (Mack) Day, Jerry Spray, Zanoni (Spray) Woodward and his stepfather Curtis Bollier.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
