March 14, 1938 ~ March 28, 2023 (age 85)
Don Stone passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023, having achieved the age of 85.
This “Gentleman from San Francisco” was born and spent his early years in Stephenville, TX before attending the University of Texas in Austin.
A lover of arts, a world traveler and, in his earlier years, an outdoor adventurer; cosmopolitan San Francisco suited him and he lived there for over 40 years. He made a number of strong bonds and friendships which continued even after he retired to the family farm north of Stephenville.
In his later years he moved to Georgetown Texas to be closer to his sister Brenda Isherwood. Don is survived by his sister Brenda Isherwood and husband Jay; niece Denise Lowe, nephew Randall Carr and wife Tami; nephew Dayemond Lowe and wife Pat, many beloved cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the West End Cemetery in Stephenville, TX at a later date.
