The Stephenville HS Honeybee softball team is headed to the playoffs this season.
The Bees (14-13, 3-5) are coming out of District 6-4A in fourth place behind Graham (24-4-2), Glen Rose (8-13, 5-4) and Brownwood (10-13, 4-5). Stephenville will face the Lady Mustangs of Sweetwater (13-8) in the battle for the Bi-District title.
Sweetwater is coming into the matchup in first place out of District 5-4A, having only lost one game during district play. So, the Bees will have their hands full, but have three games to beat the Lady Mustangs.
Stephenville travels to Breckenridge Thursday, April 27, for the first game at 6 p.m. The second game will be at Breckenridge HS field at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 28. With a third game, if necessary.
