Ken Ritchie, 77, passed away June 7, 2023. His service will be Saturday, June 10, at Hillcrest Church of Christ in Stephenville, Texas, at 10:00 A.M., with Boots Hansford officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, June 9, at Lacy Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. The burial will be at East End Cemetery in Lingleville.

Ken was born in Eureka, Kansas, on August 10, 1945, to William and Jeane Ritchie. He married Robin Haggard on April 10, 1983, in Zephyr, Texas. Ken joined the US ARMY in 1965, serving in Vietnam from 1966-1967 followed by thirteen and a half years in the Texas ARMY National Guard. He was a Christian, lifetime member of V.F.W., D.A.V., American Legion, and Sons of the Confederacy Camp 1904. He was also a member of the Stephenville Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed reenacting 1800’s history, hunting, gunsmithing, and horses. In memory of Ken, please donate to 2nd Chance Farm, P.O. Ken is survived by his wife, Robin Ritchie of Stephenville, Texas; his five children, Bradley LeRoy Ritchie and partner, Rebecca, of Nocona, Texas, RuGeana Williams and husband, Josh, of Bellevue, Washington, Kassie Hernandez and husband, Jason, of Hollister, California, Ashlea Grooms and husband, Gary Grooms, Sr., of Stephenville, Texas, and Ethan Ritchie of Stephenville, Texas; his fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his special friend, brother of arms, Pete Higgins, and his dog, Willow. Ken is preceded in death by parents, W.K. Ritchie, Jeane Yeager Stratmoen, and Gene Stratmoen.
