Several people from two Stephenville churches (First Baptist Church and Valley Grove Baptist Church) spent a week in Cloudcroft, New Mexico, working at the Sivells Baptist Camp & Retreat Center. Most of them left Stephenville on July 23 and returned on July 29. The folks from these churches periodically make trips to this camp to make various improvements and repairs. It was hard work in the higher altitudes of New Mexico, but a lot of work was accomplished and a lot of bonding took place as well. The small staff at the camp made sure the workers were well fed, serving three meals a day in the dining hall of the camp. And, of course, there was time for prayer and a devotional each day.
